In short, we are a costuming and lightsaber choreography group with a focus on charity and community. Chandrila Temple was formed in March 2023 with our five founding members (SG-894, SG-899, SG-934, SG-1010, and SG-1065), and now we have members in and perform at sites across New England. Connecticut is served by our sister group, Kessel Temple. We commonly troop at events with Kessel and other sister clubs, including:

• 501st New England Garrison

• Rebel Legion: Alderaan Base

• The Dark Empire: Ziost Temple

• Sith Dynasty: Esstran Temple

• Mandalorian Mercs Costuming Club: Firaxan Clan

• Mandalorian Protectors: House Mandokar

• New England Droid Builders 

• Burgundy Squadron

Since 2023, our temple has more than doubled in size and has participated in events across New England!

In 2024 alone, we:

• Helped raise over $14,000 for charity along with our sister groups

• Attended 39 events

• Taught 21 lightsaber classes for Padawans along with multiple teen/adult classes

• Gave our first choreographed performance at Pop Cult Anime Con Masquerade
